The 2024 Christmas Market in Cholet

The Cholet Christmas market, a real holiday event, opens its doors on Saturday, November 25, 2024 on Place Travot and will continue until January 7, 2025. With its traditional chalets, festive entertainment and new features, this edition promises to delight young and old alike. Discover everything that awaits you this year!

A Christmas village in the heart of Place Travot in Cholet

From November 25 at 6 p.m., Place Travot, a 5-minute walk from the Best Western San Benedetto*** hotel, will light up to welcome the Christmas market in an enchanting setting.

A 14-meter-high illuminated church and a large sparkling fir tree will recreate the warm atmosphere of villages of yesteryear. You can stroll among 17 chalets divided into three areas:

• The gourmet market (7 chalets) with local delicacies and Christmas sweets.
• The French-made artisans market (6 chalets), open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays until December 24.
• The Arcades Rougé market (4 chalets) with a variety of products, open until January 6.

A program of festive activities

The Cholet Christmas market offers free activities for all ages:

• Opening of Santa's house on November 26 at 3 p.m, until December 23.
• Santa's parade on December 23 at 7:15 p.m.: a light and musical show through the streets of the city center.
• Living Nativity Scene Show on Place Rougé: six performances on December 15, 16, 17, 20, 22 and 23 at 6:30 p.m.
• Oyster bar, new this year, on Saturdays and Sundays on December 9, 10, 16 and 17 from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
• Treasure hunt for the whole family
