Puy du Fou: opening of the 2026 season
Puy du Fou reopens its doors on Saturday, April 4, 2026! The famous theme park located in the Vendée region promises, as every year, a season full of new attractions and surprises.
Voted "Best Park in the World" several times, discover or rediscover in 2026 the 18 spectacular shows and 4 historical villages for a breathtaking journey through time.
This new season promises to be full of excitement and new experiences.
Discover "King Arthur's Sword," a show created in 2025, which plunges you into the heart of the legend of the Knights of the Round Table.
You can follow Tristan on his quest to free Excalibur and save King Arthur from Morgana's evil spell, and admire the spectacular special effects.
Another show to (re)discover is "The Mime and the Star," already a two-time winner of the "Best Show of the Year" award worldwide.
This poetic masterpiece pays homage to the beginnings of silent film during the Belle Époque with exquisitely crafted staging.
Finally, "The All Saints' Day Festival," a new, limited-time event at the end of the season, will bring the year to a spectacular close.
This dazzling show invites you to participate in a unique concert in the castle courtyard alongside King Francis I and the most illustrious figures of the Renaissance.
The performances will be offered exclusively from October 2nd to 31st, 2026.
You can then follow the royal procession and its 80 horses to the old lake to attend the nighttime show "The Wedding of Fire."
The Giants' Run
The Giants' Run is an iconic nighttime race at Puy du Fou. For this 7th edition, you will be able to run 10 or 20 km through the illuminated park.
This experience, as athletic as it is magical, allows you to admire the park's historical scenery in an epic atmosphere.
From December 19th, 2026 to January 3rd, 2027, the park will be transformed into a fairytale for the Christmas holidays, as it is every year.
Between the enchanting illuminations, the giant fir tree forests, the warm atmosphere, and the brand-new entertainment, this magical time of year offers the perfect opportunity to visit the park with your family in a whole new light.
The Cinéscénie is Puy du Fou's most iconic show.
