La Folle Journée 2023 in Cholet
Vibrate to the rhythm of classical music for a weekend in Cholet
Initially organised in Nantes, the event La Folle Journée will be exported again in 2023 to Cholet.
Take advantage of this opportunity to live a strong experience in the musical field.
A classical music festival
Since 1995, this musical journey transports you into a world of music for a few days in January. During the 27 years of the festival, tributes have been paid to famous music composers such as Mozart, Beethoven and Schubert.
Although the festival started out as a weekend event, it now extends over five days, from Wednesday to Sunday. Similarly, the festival now extends to around twenty towns in the Pays de la Loire region, and no longer just to Nantes. Since 2022, the concept has been exported to other countries such as Spain, Japan, Poland...
Each year, a different theme is chosen to enhance the year's edition.
A 2023 edition in preparation
Before everyone else, attend numerous concerts and conferences. The organisation has chosen to sell its tickets at reduced prices to allow as many people as possible to attend these performances.
For this 2023 edition under the theme "Ode to the Night", meet the classical music composers highlighted by the city. The night is an important source of inspiration in the history of art. It is therefore an opportunity to discover and rediscover musical works on the theme.
A highly anticipated ticket office
Over the years, the opening of the La Folle Journée ticket office has become like the first day of the sales. Thousands of people wait for the Tourist Office to unveil the famous date, so much so that generally, 50% of the tickets are sold on the first day of marketing.
